The Universe Series

I created the Universe Series as a complement to the Coffee Series, the round format and the use of metal leaf echo the upcycled coffee capsules.

I worked on them during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and many of the events during those very challenging months influenced my work on them: the round format symbolizes the planet, the color reflect Planet Earth as the Blue Planet, but also the color Red reflects the unusual and highly stressful times the planet and humanity are going through. I have added some thoughts to some pieces, thoughts and words that came to mind when working on them.
